SEXYmyid - The 71st Miss World 2024 took place on March 9 at 7:30 pm in Mumbai, India. Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska crowned her successor Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic.
Krystyna Pyszková was born 19 January 1999 in Trinec. She is a Czech model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World 2023.
Pyszkova was previously crowned Miss Czech Republic 2022, and is the second Czech woman to win Miss World.
She was educated at Gymnázium Tinec. She grew up in the nearby village of Návsí, as a Silesian Goral member of the Polish minority located in Trans-Olza.
Pyszková later relocated to Prague to further her education.
Prior to winning Miss Czech Republic, Pyszková was studying law at Charles University in Prague, and management at MCI Management Center Innsbruck in Innsbruck .
Pyszková began her career in pageantry in 2022, when she was selected as a finalist for Miss Czech Republic 2022.
The pageant was later held in May 2022, which Pyszková went on to win. As the winner, she was selected to represent the Czech Republic at Miss World 2024.
Pyszková won the 71st edition of Miss World, in Mumbai, India on 9 March 2024.
The competition was to originally be held in the United Arab Emirates, but was later moved to Mumbai, with a date of 16 December 2023.
It was later moved to 2 March 2024 due to the 2023 elections in India, and finally held on 9 March 2024.
The pre-pageant challenges began in New Delhi in February 2024, where Pyszková was a top four finalist for Europe in the top model challenge, and a top 10 finalist in the Beauty with a Purpose Challenge.
Pyszková is the second Czech to win Miss World, following Ta ána Kucha ová who won Miss World 2006.
In her capacity as Miss World, Pyszková has traveled to India and Mauritius.
